These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cynira application and related services (the "Services") provided by Cynira, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Cynira," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Cynira Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
The Services are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and able to form a legally binding agreement. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Cynira is an AI-powered mental-health support and navigation tool. Cynira is not a licensed clinician and does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, provide psychotherapy, provide trauma processing, or replace professional mental-health care. Cynira is not an emergency service and is not monitored in real time. Cynira cannot contact 911, 988, a provider, a crisis team, family, friends, or another person for you. Do not use Cynira for emergencies or as a substitute for urgent medical or mental-health care. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, feel unable to stay safe, have taken steps to harm yourself, experience severe confusion or loss of touch with reality, or have another emergency, call or text 988 in the United States, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency department.
Your use of Cynira does not create a physician-patient, therapist-client, counselor-client, or other professional relationship between you and Cynira or any individual associated with Cynira.
Cynira uses artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, unavailable, or not applicable to your circumstances. You are responsible for deciding how to use information obtained through the Services. Do not delay seeking professional or emergency help because of information received through Cynira.
You agree to provide accurate and current information, keep your login credentials confidential, notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access, use the Services only for lawful and permitted purposes, and not create an account for another person without authorization. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.
You may use the Services only for personal, lawful, noncommercial purposes. You may not violate law or another person's rights, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, interfere with or disrupt the Services, reverse engineer the Services, scrape the Services without permission, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, or use the Services to facilitate harmful or illegal content.
Cynira will share your selected information with a provider, counseling center, or other recipient only when you review and affirmatively authorize a specific transmission. Withdrawal of permission does not reverse information already sent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Cynira disclaims all warranties and does not warrant that the Services will meet your needs, be error-free, or provide medical, mental-health, or emergency guidance appropriate for your circumstances. Cynira will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
